The Pirmil Bench

The Pirmil Bench is a quiet celebration of craftsmanship, material, and heritage. Designed and made by French maker Kevin Tronel, it takes its name from his roots in Nantes, Brittany - a place where tradition and simplicity meet.

Crafted from solid European oak, the bench is woven by hand using Danish paper cord, a process that takes around a full day to complete. The result is a beautifully tactile surface that invites touch, balancing strength with a subtle, organic softness. Each piece is finished with hard wax oil, enhancing the natural warmth and grain of the oak while ensuring durability for everyday use.
