Kiwande Woven Storage Baskets

The Kiwande block woven basket, has a pink and pink pinstripe colourway, designed to enhance any décor scheme.

The craftswomen who produce these Kiwande striped woven baskets all learned to weave sisal from a young age, and practice this traditional African craft within a small collective in rural Kenya.

Buying these blocked colour baskets actively supports the weavers in supporting their families through the perilous dry seasons, where subsistence farming - their main source of revenue – can suffer. We are proud to empower women with the flexibility that basket weaving offers.
